AI phone receptionist
Your phone, answered while you work.
When you cannot pick up, it answers in a natural voice, says it is an AI assistant, takes the caller's name, address, job and urgency, and texts you a summary before they hang up.
Call the AI receptionist
Scripted demoThis is a pretend call to Harbour Plumbing, a business that does not exist. Answer the way a customer would. Tap a suggestion, type, or use your microphone.
The microphone uses your browser's speech recognition. In Chrome and Edge, what you say is sent to Google or Microsoft to turn it into text. Nothing is sent to me or stored. Your words appear in the reply box first, and nothing is sent until you press Send.
The real receptionist answers on your phone line with a natural voice, and always says it is an AI.
What the owner receives
Finish the call and the text message the owner gets shows up here.
The details you need, not a voicemail you have to call back.
Who and where
Name, number, suburb or address, written down for you. No more mishearing a mobile number on a noisy site.
What the job is
The problem in the customer’s own words, plus the answers to the questions you would normally ask.
How urgent
You set the rules for urgent. Those jobs are flagged at the top of the text so you can call straight back.
A text to you
The summary lands on your phone seconds after the call ends. Reply to ring them back.
Bookings, if you want
It can offer real times from your calendar, or just take details and leave booking to you.
Rules you control
What it can say, what it cannot, and when it hands over. All approved by you before it goes live.
Missed call text back
Not ready for an AI on the phone? Miss a call and the caller gets a text from your number within seconds: sorry I missed you, what do you need? Most people would rather text back than ring the next business.
The parts most AI phone services skip.
Honest from the first word
It says it is an AI assistant for your business. No fake names pretending to be staff.
Recording only with notice
Off by default. If you turn it on, callers are told at the start of the call.
You see every call
Every call gets a summary, so you can check how it is handling people and ask for changes.
Tested before it goes live
I ring it myself with the awkward calls you get, and you hear it before any customer does.
Receptionist questions
Does it use my existing number?
Yes. Your calls forward to the AI only when you do not pick up, or after hours, or always, whichever you choose. Customers still ring the number they already have.
Will callers know it is an AI?
Yes. It says so in the first sentence. Most people do not mind as long as it is quick and gets their details right.
What about emergencies?
You decide what counts as urgent, like burst pipes, no power or gas smells. Those get flagged in the text to you straight away, and the AI can tell the caller you will ring back within minutes. For anything dangerous it tells them to call 000 first.
Are calls recorded?
Only if you want them to be. If recording is on, callers are told at the start, which is what Australian law expects. Many businesses just keep the text summary instead.
What happens after the 150 minutes?
Most small businesses use well under that. If you go over, extra minutes are passed on at cost, and I will tell you before it happens so there are no surprises.
Can I change what it says?
Yes, any time. Tell me what to change and it is updated, usually the same day.
Want to hear it with your business details?
Send a few lines about your business and the calls you usually get. I will set up a demo using your services so you can ring it before paying anything monthly.
